So back several months ago, I decided that I should have never stopped doing art ..meaning illustration, drawing, painting, what not. A really good friend of mine convinced me to get back into doing art again. I decided to give my self a challenge, a hurdle to jump over. I was never really any good at painting. I've done it here and there and to a class in college back when I was still an art major. So I decided to take it up. I went and bought my supplies, some basic painting books and started digging through tutorials on the internet. So 9 months, 1 acrylics class and 7 paintings later...I'm still struggling to find new technique and learn new things. Trying to get a bearing of how I am doing through comments of others whose opinion I can trust and respect. Next stop...oil painting....but that is a bigger undertaking than working with acrylic. We'll see how it goes.
